What is violence in close relationships?
Violence in close relationships can happen in a romantic relationship, between a child and a parent, between siblings or by other close people. Forms of abuse can be physical, psychological, sexually offensive, financial, digital or other.
Violence in close relationships can be difficult to recognize. Violence in close relationships tends to be periodic and to get worse over time.
A safe relationship does not include being afraid, being hurt, or being made to feel worthless.

- Everyone has the right to live safely
- It is important to talk about violence and abuse
- Violence rarely ends bon its own
